For years I’ve struggled with this company as my employer believes it’s a low cost alternative to sales force. So far it’s never worked right over the past 7 years, the app which they promote so heavily for sales reps is continuously buggy and unreliable. They executed an update over the weekend and so Monday morning, while Zoho is officially closed for President’s Day (minor US holiday), the system’s auto updates break and you’re unable to use the mandatory app until they decide to put their India team on it, eventually. So the lesson is don’t bother. If you need something mission critical or mandatory for your employees, pick something else… anything. This is the worst business platform I’ve seen in my 30 years in the IT sales industry. They have the worst support who claims they’re very sorry and will help, but they never do fix anything or solve anything. It’s just BAD.
One of my custom modules disappeared on my ipad! In my other custom modules I have links to records in this custom module and when I click it, it does not go anywhere. On my iPhone, the deal module disappeared. I don’t know what’s wrong with this app!
Many of the UI elements haven’t been designed with small screens in mind. Important info is often truncated, creating a usability nightmare. We tried to implement a system where my boss could approve orders on the road from his phone, but it was entirely unworkable due to the UI limitations, as one example. Also I’ve been having trouble pulling up products from our catalog. Ours is small enough that it should be easy to download the entire thing to the device, if there’s an option to do so, I haven’t found it. Same with our list of accounts and leads.

Links hardly ever work, the search function is questionable and rarely shows the right lookups, even when spelled exactly as it should be, and many modules outright do not work. I have no issues with the we based CRM but the app needs some significant work.

Zoho has serious problem with usability, UI/UX design and documentation to begin with. Couple that with weaker functionality than their competition, and you don’t exactly have a match made in heaven. What they have going for them is a huge mix of business apps which are okay and when bundled, they’re really cheap. Music to many small business owners’ ears. But app functionality is worse still! This CRM app, for example, doesn’t even allow the editing of much basic contact info. Why exactly to business users need a CRM mobile or tablet app? Right! So they can use it on the go. This app fails on that front. You’re better off just accessing the apps in the browser. You need Internet access anyway.
We have used multiple CRM’s for our business including Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365 Sales and Zoho CRM. Out of all these companies, Zoho seems to actually care about their customers, probably because they aren’t answering to shareholders. We found Zoho easier to setup, more streamlined, and have more features and automations than the competition. The mobile app is very intuitive and easy to navigate. We compared this most to Microsoft Sales CRM and Zoho just is on another level. In addition Zoho has offered the most robust support. Some of these competitors offer absolutely no support and direct you to a ridiculously overpriced “partner”. The additional features such as customer and vendor portals makes our small team seem like a Fortune 500 company and helps us win more business.
Old app used to work fine. After downloading this new upgrade, get a persistent screen “no internet connection” and cannot move past it. Checked internet, that isn’t an issue. Old app worked fine immediately before this upgrade. Zoho, you can do better. Productivity drain.
This logging in has become ridiculous.. and having to wait around for an email or phone call absurd.
App says phone not connected to internet. Phone is definitely connected to internet.
Nothing seems to be syncing in dashboards.
Late two versions ( at least) can’t see my phone’s internet connection. App opens and says it can’t find the internet, check your connection. Everything else on the phone can see the internet on both WiFi and cellular.
Zoho” With the team they have, the knowledge of each, the promptness of responding, the professionalism in which each one has shown to me , right along with the patience with someone who has been in business over 30yrs both as employee on into the purchase of, staying in the old style of Salesmanship, the older methods of scaling & outdated technology, ( that while worked). Was proven by ZOHO CRM that it was time to accept & learn the technology at our fingertips today. Pleasantly simple to understand and navigate even for the smallest business out there today that wants to scale & keep their business in the market. I also suppose up to the most demanding of businesses. From someone as small as I, to the largest most prestigious U. S. based or international. My strong opinion is that ZOHO CRM will be the most important, and effective tool one will need.
Need to allow the mobile device for clicking to call to use another platform like RingCentral so we can ensure calls are being recorded and tracked
The app is not intuitive and requires too many clicks to find and add information on the go.

When users are having issues, are they on Android or Apple Device?
Why do charts and graphs no longer show? What’s the point of this app if there are no visual graphics? The data is still there. When you go to analytics, graphics no longer work.

I love zoho crm but the app crashes right after opening. I’ve updated cleared things and it still crashes. Wish they would fix this for iPhone

Please allow me to tag things and add/delete views as we can on the computer it’s how we organize our leads. Other than that I love this app
Zoho creates an isolation between Leads and Contacts/Accounts and this adds an unnecessary layer of confusion and complexity. Contacts should have a type field that just indicates whether they are a lead, prospect, customer etc. Additionally, Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaigns should have a native integration/sync rather than having to create a sync service and go through field mapping that is buggy and error prone. The default database schema for CRM and Campaigns should be normalized. Right now they have incongruent data fields. Account? Company? Company Name? Come on.
We have used many CRM’s during the years, and Zoho CRM really excels. It is the Swiss Army knife for any company, it has plenty of useful features and it is highly customizable to adapt to your business rules. Fantastic and indispensable tool for any business management.

Great but no Apple Watch app
I love the ability to customize on the web app. I like the ease of use. I love the ability to see a map of my contacts in the iPhone app. I would give this app 4 or 5 stars if these features were added: (1) The ability to sort by TAG in the iPhone app (2) The ability to sort by TAG on the web app. (3) The ability to add TAGS in the contact creation page (4) A desktop app that works offline (5) The ability for tags to be universally shared across categories (6) Allow the NEARBY CONTACTS MAP to have as wide a view as we want (like Google maps does with starred places)
App is good to find information in my CRM, but when a call comes in on my VoIP phone app (RingCentral) I have no idea who it is. Wish it pulled up the contact like it does on my desktop.
Really, there’s nothing like it especially for the price. Zoho CRM is highly recommended along with their suite of products.
I primarily work on iPad and this app has very limited features on iPad. And since I’ve installed it I CAN’T access web app anymore - the browser constantly redirects me to the app - this is probably the most annoying “feature”. Every time I need to change or setup something that is not possible in the app I must delete it in order to access website and then reinstalled. This a huge pain. I’m moving to another app. Sorry.
For what you get you can’t beat the price. Very customizable and works with zapier.

Wanted to try ZohoCRM as an all-in-one suite for Tasks, Calendar, CRM, email notes (btw, I LOVE Notebook!!). But when you get “An error has occurred” EVERY time you visit a navigation icon, even after resetting, something’s wrong. Maybe it’s not compatible with my iphone version. Whatever the reason, it doesn’t work for me…but it may work for you!!
Zoho has done it again! We have searched the world over and Zoho is the only business operating system you will find that is enterprise grade but small business priced! Thank you Zoho!
I went to use my app today to find my entire calendar is gone. looks like I’m changing calendars today.
Messed with this app for over an hour and still can’t figure out how to add a new account. Doesn’t need to be this difficult.
